First Impression is an exploration of how we present ourselves to the world. The reversible jacket expresses the contrast between our internal and external selfs. As a society we try to present a curated version of ourselves, but on the inside the majority of us are an amalgamation of good, bad, and overwhelming amounts of chaos. This contained mess is depicted with a colorful variety of yarns stitched to each individual pattern piece of the jacket. Representing the upsetting appeal of our unedited selfs.
